Manly Concrete were engaged by Lend Lease to complete Detail Excavation, Concrete Place and Finish works to all elements and Formwork to ground works. The Supreme Courts required concrete placement for two basements and a podium level, followed by eighteen floors. All concrete was a coloured oxide finish where the soffit to all suspended slabs was the finished product. This took significant planning to ensure the works were not compromised during construction. In total, 204,158m² of concrete was poured, 8188m² of this being slab on ground, 117,789m² of suspended slab, 2786m² of in situ stairs and landings and 75,395m² of walls and vertical elements. This project received two awards in 2013 from Master Concreters; the Best Project over $12M Award and the Wagner’s Supreme Award which is awarded to the best project over all 5 categories.
